This is not an exhaustive catalog — both texts contain many more passages beyond what's shown here. The point is not that either book is uniquely violent. It's that both traditions share this inheritance, and most followers of both have chosen peace despite what the texts contain. The same grace we extend to our own scripture, we owe to theirs.
